Many yachts have been launched with ANDERSEN winches since the first winches were supplied in the late fifties. During the years the production techniques have been developed to a high degree. Most production operations today are carried out by CNC controlled machinery. Advanced technology and efficient quality control guarantee that the completed winches will function for years without problems even if they are subjected to high and constant loading. This is the reason why more than 12.000 winches are distributed every year to the complete satisfaction of enthusiastic yachtsmen in more than 30 countries all over the world. Danish Design Price

"A classic example of brilliant industrial design" said the Jury of the Danish Design Center when the ANDERSEN winch received the Industrial Design Prize of 1992. This recognition is only assigned to very few Danish products each year, representing a carefully prepared design of high quality.
